During these days we worked with the Booking.com staff, with the goal to build an important optimization. We would like to underline their good technology level, which allows us to work fine, in a reliable way. That's not so common. We introduced in an explicit way the privacy normative during the second step of the booking online (frontend). As a final news: Zak is near to the 0.1 version and it will be released (probably) at the end of August. Have a good work.

Dear, we fixed a bug about special offers. The problem arised for hoteliers using multiple special offers, only if the strongest offer was associated to some meal plan. In this case, WuBook was applying a double discount. We verified reservations, and it seems there is no case affected by this problem. Please, accept our sincere apologizes for the inconvenience.

Policy non refundable
We finally introduced new cancellation policies: not refundable rules. There are two versions of this cancellation policy: hard and soft. The first pretends a payment. The second, as the first, denies the chance to cancel the reservation, but informs the customer that the payment can be done at the arrival in hotel. We also signal a new Tabla improvement: Tabla is now able to signal your typos during prices, restrictions and availabilites management.

Dear Customers, we're really happy to announce WuMoon! For English User this is a new feature. WuMoon is a widget to be inserted inside the booking online steps and/or on your site pages. WuMoon support was limited to the major italian cities (and for this reason limited to italian users). Today, WuMoon supports (almost) all international cities, including forecasts and temperature information. As for the italian, older version, it's possible to implement (for free) WuMoon on hotel and bed and breakfast sites. Venere support inside the channel manager has been improved, allowing to associate the desired meal plan for Venere prices. Finally, there's a new preference: you can disallow the chance to specify, in the second step of the booking process, the occupancy for your reservations

Dear Customers, some improvements to announce. It's now possible to set the availability to 0 with a simple click. The fast way has been inserted on the Closing Date Page. The graphical report displaying contingents has been improved: it now starts considering the actual date. Waiting for Venere inside our Channel Manager WooDoo, Good Booking on Line to everyone!

02/07/2009 Server Farm Incident

Server Farm Incident
Dear Customrs, a serious problem to the DataCenter where our servers (WuBook, WuBookCo, Fenilot) reside, caused long disservices. The DataServer was impacted by a total power outage. WuBook, WuBookCo, Fenilot and Hundreds of servers have been stopped and we had no chance to do any intervention. DataCenter care support is collapsed: we had to wait for resolution with anxiety and no chance of intervention. Services are up from ~15:00. We're monitoring them to restore in a stable status each type of service. We will communicate asap other news.

Wu promoved a musical project: Canta-me o Fado. The Result is a prestigious CD, claiming important collaborations on the Italian Musical Environment. Canta-me o Fado is inspired by the popular portuguese music: Fado. One euro for each CD will be devolved to the ONG AMANI, an association caring about african children and women.
