Airbnb, verification of credentials - luther - 07-09-2016
Dear WuBookers,
we would like to inform you about what's happening with AirBnb.
Yesterday, July 7th, in late afternoon, the portal experienced a
security attack. Their reaction was to protect accounts by disabling
their access and requiring the legitimate owner of each account to do a
procedure of verification of credentials.
Consequently the WooDoo connection, that as you know is in screen
scraping, has been compromised. Many connections have been disabled,
since the impossibility to access the AirBnb extranet because of
verification requirement.
In this case, what you have to do is following the procedure of AirBnb
to verify and recover the access to your extranet. After that, take the
new credentials and reinitialize the connection in WooDoo.
At the moment it seems that everything is coming back to normality, even
if the great number of reinitialization is producing a great number of
updates added to the queue, causing an overall slowing down.
