Airbnb Connectivity - actual status & further developments
#1
Dear WuBookers

We would like to give you an update on the actual status and most of all on the near future developments of a really industry relevant connection, Airbnb.

What's the situation now, since about a month we are experiencing connectivity issues, this is due to temporary bans at the configuration process, but we saw that just after a few attempts those bans get unblocked, but this can take a few days.
Even though those cases have been limited and acted on manually by us, now to reduce the inconvenience we are making our best to stabilize the connectivities already in place.
In this sense by this weekend we are working on creating automatic verifications on those bans with emails and notifications to the affected customers to notify the unblock of their current issue or extranet messages which will notify latest failed attempts.

Now let's pass on the good, actually great news, after months of talks and negotiations with Airbnb we are absolutely pleased to announce that we got a green light to establish a solid partnership with a full, reliable, official XML connection.

In the meantime we decided then not to add further new airbnb connections in screen scraping, but we kindly ask you to bare with us for just a few weeks to get the full xml connectivity.

As always we will keep you posted on the developments,

Warm regards to all

Hey guys,
Thanks for this update and great work.
Will the XML connection allow Hostels to sell individual beds in a Dormitory?
Apparently we can't at the moment so I was wondering.
Regards,
Julien R.

Guys,

as soon as we have news, we will let you know. For sure.
Developing with pressure is ok. But developing just to publish is not ok.
We, as always, need to do a state-of-art service and this is 100% the most important goal for us.

Be sure that a news will be published once ready to connect :)
