Zak PMS: last release (27.05.2020)

Dear WuBookers,

we are ready, once again, to announce a brand new release for our ZAK PMS.
As you can see, the work is going great and we are continuing to improve all aspects of our PMS.

This new release will affect 3 main components of the program: the management of customer reservations and personal
data, the Channel Manager and the Booking Engine integrated into our Suite.
The new functionalities will be visible and usable from Wednesday the 27th of May.

Once again, some improvements derive directly from your requests sent us through the WuBook Forum or
through the phone calls with our staff.


Ready for the news?
Let's go:

- PRINTABLE PLANNER!!
Finally one of the most requested features has become reality. From the new release it will be possible to
print the Planner, selecting the desired period and choosing whether to print it in portrait or landscape orientation.

- TELEPHONE NUMBER ON FAST RESERVATION
You can now add the guest phone number directly from the Fast Reservation entry window

- GENERIC PII DRIVERS
We have created generic drivers dedicated to the PII Package and Reports for local law enforcement. These new drivers are designed
for those countries that don't have adopted a technological standard yet but they could have the obligation to provide
the report with the guests data to the law enforcement.

- GRAPHIC RESTYLING OF THE CUSTOMER REGISTRATION PAGE
We have done a great job of graphic simplification of the Customer registration Page.
The page is now clean, very clear and will greatly facilitate the data entry.
You can also choose between two different display modes: normal and NERD :)

- NEW NOTIFICATION BAR
Our ZAK team has added a new notification bar in the lower right corner. In this brand new bar
you can find essentially 4 very useful tools.
Starting from the right you will find the Notifications (that is basically the Deserving Attention section in Home Page), the Remarks,
Bookmarks (to save and recall the page that you mostly use) and The documentation/tutorial button.

- RUSSIAN CITIES
We have updated out Cities database with all the Russian Cities including the cyrillic version of them.
 
- REVISION OF ALL INLINE TEXTS AND TUTORIALS
We have reviewed all the texts of the articles in our documentation. We also worked on the inline articles that you find directly
in the ZAK extranet. Finally we also refreshed all the texts of the Tutorial.

- GRAPHIC ADJUSTMENT OF SOME PAGES
We are continuing to conform the interface of the program in all its sections. This release involves the Home section (Dashboard, Tasks,
Monitors and Notifications), the Products section (Policies, Extras and Closures) and YouBook.

- BOOKING ENGINE - PORTUGUESE LANGUAGE
After many request received, the Portuguese language has finally been added In the ZAK Booking Engine.

- BOOKING ENGINE - DEFAULT BOARD
We have implemented a very interesting feature to show your default board in the results of the Booking Engine.
The default board can be selected directly from the widget settings, in the Online Reception section.

- BOOKING ENGINE - SELLING ROOMS WITH TAGS
Using the same preselection mechanism from the widget, it will be possible to decide to sell only the rooms
with a particular TAG

-BOOKING ENGINE - ENABLE/DISABLE "BEST SOLUTION"
Has finally been introduced the option of activating or deactivating the "Best Solution", shown at the top of the search results.


- CHANNEL MANAGER - DEVELOPMENT OF NEW CHANNEL "DESPEGAR"
We developed "Despegar" directly within the ZAK Channel Manager.
This Argentine OTA is growing strongly and is one of the main players in the South American market.


- CHANNEL MANAGER - CREATIONS OF ROOMS AND RATES OF BOOKING.COM DIRECTLY FROM ZAK
Booking.com is certainly the most used and the most connected channel to our Channel Manager. With this new release we have
started to give you the opportunity to create new rooms and new rates for Booking.com directly inside ZAK, avoiding to go to your
Booking.com extranet. We will certainly give you more details in the coming weeks.

- CHANNEL MANAGER - SELF-DETECTION OF ERRORS AND "PROACTIVE NOTICE" BY OUR ACCOUNT MANAGER
WuBook quality is not only measured in the software that we offer, but also in the quickness and efficiency that we put into our
support. Precisely in order to make your WuBook experience easier, we have developed an intelligent self-detection system
for the communication errors between the Channel Manager and the OTAs.
For example, it may happen that some settings within the OTA extranet could conflict with the ones provided by the Channel Manager;
to overcome this problem, we have created a mechanism that warns our staff everytime this issues happen.
WuBook Account Managers will then inform you of the possible problem and to help you in order to solve it.
Our goal is simple: we want to anticipate the problem before it occurs.
