EXPERIENCES AND EXTRAS
The possibility for guests to add extras after booking via the online reservation management is excellent.
I would like also to see the possibility for guests to be able to cancel or change the extras themselves within a set time period for each (set by the manager).
For example :
Parking : can be deleted or edited up to 3 days before arrival
Transfers : Can be deleted or edited up to 28 days before arrival
Meals : can be deleted or edited up to 1 day before arrival
This would help for advance bookings to give guests more flexibility to edit their extras without contacting us to make the changes.
Some of the extras also need to be booked a certain number of days before arrival (for example if booked with an external service provider, such as an airport transfer).
Would it be possible to either:
Add a description to the extras so we can state 'must be booked x days prior to arrival'
or, add an option for us to control that the extra will not show up to be added to their booking, if booking closer than x days before arrival?
ONLINE CHECK-IN
We are not required to collect guest document information. The fields is not made compulsory, but that isn't clear for the guests when they view the form and the amount of information needed for each person looks like a lot (especially for big groups).
In order to make it as easy as possible for our guests:
1) Can you give us the option to delete the fields for 'Document information'?
2) Can you add a 'copy details from lead passenger' tick box for the residential address, phone number and email address of all additional guests? This saves filling out the same information for all of your family members!
