Dear WuBookers,

we have almost reached the end of another year and, along with the holidays, 
comes some news.

The closeness to the high season doesn't allow us to make big changes so 
as not to destabilize your work too much, so there will be a few improvements
and some new features.

Here is a list:

01. Direct login to Zak and WooDoo:
    - In the login form, you will be able to choose which service to land in with 
      a simple selection, without going through Wauth each time.

02. Stripe connect (Zak and Woodoo)
    - Stripe activated a new method to integrate payments: 'Stripe Connect'.
      This new method has been implemented on both Woodoo and Zak.
      The old method has been discontinued and will no longer be activatable, 
      but those who are using it will still be able to continue guaranteeing their 
      reservations.
      What are the advantages of stripe connect over the old method?
      You no longer need to share your API key with us, just go to the payment 
      gateway configuration page, select stripe connect and start the integration 
      process. You will then be redirected to the stripe page, which will ask you 
      to log in. What happens now? Your account will be linked to ours, making
      payments easier.
      Direct debits to credit cards will benefit most of all.
      With stripe connect, you will no longer need to enable the feature
      "manage credit card data directly", which is getting more and more 
      hidden and hard to enable.

03. Door codes (zak): the first step towards domotics...
    - In each reservation detail you will find an icon to assign a code to each 
      room. Of course, we have also developed dedicated API keys to manage
      the codes from third-party apps.

04. Broom Paper (Zak)
    There are many new and improved features in broom paper, both in Zak and 
     in the web app for the cleaner:

    - Automatic task confirmation: many of you asked for it and now we have
      implemented it. Along with the other options, you can now also choose to
      automate the confirmation of cleaning tasks. It will take place daily.

    - It is now possible to postpone or anticipate cleaning tasks in the zView.

    - Still within zView, another useful feature requested by some of you,
      is the possibility to reset confirmed tasks.

    - The cleaner, from his link, can now add notes to rooms with existing 
       reservations. They will be visible in the reservation detail.

    - The cleaner's link will now become a web app: it will be possible to install it
      on your device and have it always available.

05. Split vat in the voucher (Zak):
    - In the voucher total amount, the value of VAT is separated and highlighted.

06. Feedback (Zak-Booking engine):
    - The feedback report was enhanced with the possibility of replying to each 
      review. Replies will be displayed on Zak online reception and managed in
      the report section.

07. Kilyx report
(Zak)
    The restaurant module report was enriched with additional information 
     requested by you:
     - revenue of services charged to reservations
     - revenue of each food
     - revenue of service fees

08. Bank transfer as a guarantee method
(Zak):
    - The bank transfer has been added to the methods for guaranteeing 
      reservations. By entering your bank details, these will be shown in the 
      final reservation step of the booking engine.

09. Filter by board in the reservation search (Zak):
    - You can also filter the search for a reservation by board.

10. Push notifications (Zak API):
    - Within the Zak settings, under 'Zak api' we have added
      the possibility of activating push notifications when specific events 
      occur: check-in, check-out, new reservation and status change.

11. Vat scraping (Zak):
    - Automatic compilation of fiscal data by entering the vat number only.
      This works when issuing a new invoice, when recording customers'
      data, and inside agency/corporate pages.

12. Romanian (Zak booking engine) was added to the languages 
      compatible with Zak and its Booking Engine.
      You can activate it in the booking engine settings.

In addition to these points, work was also done behind the scenes on
the channel manager OTAs (both in Zak and Woodoo) to update drivers, 
new APIs and structural software improvements.

Towards the next release:

What you were waiting for is not in this release? Don't worry!
In addition to the news of this release, we have also been moving 
forward with the next big projects.
With the New Year will come many more new features, including:

- New mobile app for Zak!
  As you know, we have been working on the new Zak App for months.
  Work is progressing well, very well.
  It's not 100% completed yet, but we're well on our way, we're happy 
  with the results.
  A first private beta with some first features will be published in the stores soon.
  There are so many new features that we should dedicate a post just for it!
